So I wanted to select a few photos from the Legend of Korra photoshoot that took place a few weeks after Auckgeddon last year.  WINDEST day ever at the Bay (as you can see in the photos) and yet our wonderful photographer Sylvie still managed to direct us to work with the weather and take amazing shots!

There’s so many more I’d like to share but I decided to go with a few landscape shots.  Don’t even get me started on how drop-dead beautiful Molly looks in her Korra costume by the water’s edge there!

And one more time with Keyshakitty (Bolin) and Jakface (Korra) :D Again, issues with lighting, thank you Wellington weather, but it was a really enjoyable shoot! Huge thank you to both ladies, and dessertfox/Kathy for assisting and being cold and gross with us :) Pabu was made by Keysha, and he is so huge and fluffy and huggable!

Again, Little Noise does an AMAZING job at taking some incredible shots of our costumes. That was a great day! :D Thank you!! I’m so glad to finally have good photos of our costumes!

keyshakitty: Jak and I are so shameless when it comes to fandom-made characters.  But we had a blast creating twin characters Jie and Jiao.  Jie’s hers (in the green), and my Jiao’s wearing red.They have horrific burn scars on their hands/shoulders because EVERYONE and their polarbeardog has been picked on by some rouge firebender during their life.This whole picture relates around a little scene in a private story I write for us - and she drew a picture based on it and I just found it SO CUTE I had to colour it.For the record, it’s not too hard to guess the three culprits that drew all over Bo - including that awesome Mako!face! :U I hardly even did anything. I sketched this pile of scribbles and once again Keysha did all the work making it beautiful with her lines and colours. &lt;3&#160;

keyshakitty: A while ago Jak sent me this AMAZING older Bolin picture which I just couldn’t resist colouring.  Though I feel like I’ve done next to nothing on the original sketch to even warrant calling this a collaboration - it’s all her beautiful pencil work at play here~! &lt;3PS - His eyes are green, I’ve just muted it back so as to not overpower the image.Media: Coffee wash, Copic Sketch markers, Faber Castell Watercolours. This is so amazing! you took my dinky little sketch and turned it into something finished and beautiful! keyshakitty: A big thank you to ALL who came to my first ever Livestream today!  I was amazed by how many people came and joined in with the chat (you guys had me laughing so hard at times!  No wonder the colouring that usually would take about an hour took over two to complete!)However, here is the finished image (I went with a pencil sketch and coffee stain BG in the end!)  Anyone remeber during the Livestream I said I’d go back and add in the missing colours to Bolin’s left arm?  Yeah, as you can see I forgot! XD I will fix that before I upload to DA.Big props and thanks to Jak for helping me with the set-up and answering questions that I couldn’t answer because I was too focused on colouring (and Alice too~!)  To Abby for embarassing me and showing you all one of my oldest marker pieces (WHY does she have that thing?)
