The framing department at Michael’s called me yesterday to tell me the frame job on Jak’s gift she so graciously sent me was in.

I picked it up today and was so happy with how it turned out.  It looks better in person, but the frame, fillet, and mat all look wonderful together.

I forced myself to go with a wooden frame since Ferelden’s all about their wood stuffs, and couldn’t resist the suede burgundy mat with the gold fillet to complement the color palette she chose for the piece.

I can’t wait to hang this up next to my Alistair sword, shield, and Warden’s Oath Taylor made me last year, all of which are hanging on the wall next to my desk.
